Sometimes it is easy to help, sometimes we have to be creative to help when at first the offer has been declined (or refused). Some times we have be creative in how we help -- someone needs or has asked, or we have offered & the help action needed or desired is not clear to us or even the recipient. Sometimes the help may be: "moral support", prayers, being present, even a hug (or 2), a note, a card, or in today's world -- a text message / email. But take the time to figure out how & when you can help, and then do what you can that is needed.
Remember the Christmas messages & do what you can to spread the good news.
